Terms of Service

1. Who we are; acceptance

YurifyApp ("Yurify", "the Service") is operated by Yurify Pte. Ltd., a private company incorporated in Singapore ("we", "us"). By creating an account or otherwise using the Service you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, our AI Disclaimer, and our Refund Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

Yurify analyses text you submit and returns AI-generated insights about emotional tone, communication patterns, possible interpretations, and suggested rewrites. Output is probabilistic, informational only, and is not professional, medical, psychological, psychiatric, legal, financial, investigative, or HR advice. See the AI Disclaimer.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding contract to use the Service. The Service is not directed to children and we do not knowingly process the content of users under 18.

4. Your account

You are responsible for activity on your account, for keeping your credentials safe, and for the accuracy of information you provide. You must notify us promptly of any unauthorised use.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • submit content you do not have a lawful basis to submit, or that violates the privacy or rights of another person;
  • submit content authored by, or describing, a person under 18;
  • use the Service to harass, threaten, defame, or harm any person;
  • scrape, reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive the underlying models, prompts, or source code;
  • circumvent rate-limits, paywalls, authentication, or security controls;
  • resell, sublicense, or build a competing service from Yurify output;
  • use the Service in violation of any sanctions, export-control, or anti-money-laundering law.

6. Prohibited uses

You must not use the Service, or rely on its output, for any consequential decision about a person, including:

  • employment, hiring, promotion, discipline, or termination;
  • education or academic admissions or assessments;
  • credit, lending, insurance underwriting, or claims handling;
  • housing, tenancy, or property decisions;
  • immigration, visa, or border decisions;
  • law enforcement, intelligence, security clearance, or criminal proceedings;
  • clinical, medical, psychological, or psychiatric diagnosis or treatment;
  • child custody, family-court, or other litigation as evidence;
  • surveillance, profiling, or behavioural scoring of identifiable individuals without a lawful basis;
  • any other decision that produces a legal or similarly significant effect on a person.

You are solely responsible for any use of the Service that breaches this clause and you indemnify us against resulting claims.

7. Third-party content

If you submit messages, transcripts, or other content authored by someone else, you confirm you have a lawful basis to do so (for example: the content was sent to you personally, you have the author's consent, or applicable law permits the use). You indemnify Yurify against any claim, loss, or regulatory action arising from third-party content you submit.

8. Payments, subscriptions & refunds

Paid plans renew automatically until cancelled. You may cancel at any time from the billing portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the then-current period. Credits and one-off top-ups are digital content delivered immediately and are non-refundable once used. EU/UK consumers expressly acknowledge that supply of digital content begins immediately on purchase and waive the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal to the extent permitted by law. 9. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, models, prompts, design, content, and the "Yurify" name and logo, is owned by Yurify Pte. Ltd. and its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service for your personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms. You retain ownership of the content you submit and grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, process, and display it solely to operate the Service.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, reliability, or non-infringement. AI output can be inaccurate, biased, incomplete, or fabricated. You use the Service at your own risk.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Yurify Pte. Ltd. and its officers, directors, employees, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunity, arising out of or related to the Service. Our aggregate liability for all claims arising out of or related to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amounts you paid us in the twelve (12) months before the event giving rise to the claim or (b) SGD 100. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (including, where applicable, liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or fraudulent misrepresentation).

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Yurify Pte. Ltd. and its personnel against any claim, liability, damage, loss, and expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from (a) your use of the Service, (b) your breach of these Terms, (c) content you submit, including third-party content, and (d) your violation of any law or the rights of any third party.

13. Suspension & termination

We may suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the Service or other users. You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including 6, 7, 9–12, 14, 15) will survive.

14. Governing law

These Terms and any non-contractual obligations arising out of or in connection with them are governed by the laws of the Republic of Singapore, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.

15. Dispute resolution; arbitration in Singapore

Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Service, including any question regarding its existence, validity, or termination, shall be referred to and finally resolved by arbitration administered by the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC) in accordance with the SIAC Rules in force at the time the notice of arbitration is submitted. The seat of the arbitration shall be Singapore. The tribunal shall consist of one (1) arbitrator. The language of the arbitration shall be English. The award shall be final and binding.

Class-action waiver. Disputes shall be resolved only on an individual basis. You and Yurify each waive any right to bring or participate in a class, collective, or representative action.

Injunctive relief carve-out. Either party may seek interim or injunctive relief from the courts of Singapore in aid of arbitration or to protect intellectual-property rights or confidential information.

Consumers in the EU, UK, and other jurisdictions. If you are a consumer and the law of your habitual residence grants you mandatory protections (including the right to bring a claim in your local courts or under local consumer law) that cannot be derogated from by contract, those rights are not affected by this section.

16. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified through the Service or by email. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

17. Miscellaneous

If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our prior written consent; we may assign them to an affiliate or in connection with a corporate transaction. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Yurify regarding the Service and supersede any prior agreements on the same subject matter.
