AI Disclaimer

YurifyApp ("Yurify", "we", "our") is operated by Yurify Pte. Ltd., a private company incorporated in Singapore. This AI Disclaimer explains what Yurify is, how it uses artificial intelligence, what it is not, and the decisions you must not base on it. By using Yurify you confirm that you have read and accepted this disclaimer in addition to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

1. What Yurify is

Yurify is a personal communication-reflection and writing-coaching tool. It analyses text you submit and returns AI-generated insights about emotional tone, communication patterns, possible interpretations, and suggested rewrites. It is intended for personal reflection, learning, and drafting communication, nothing more.

2. What Yurify is not

Yurify is not:

• a medical, psychiatric, psychological, or counselling service;
• a diagnostic tool of any kind;
• a legal, financial, tax, investigative, or forensic service;
• a human-resources, hiring, performance-management, education, credit, insurance, housing, immigration, or law-enforcement decision tool;
• a lie-detection, deception-detection, surveillance, or background-check service;
• a service for analysing the communications of children under 18.

2a. Workplace and education restriction (EU AI Act Art. 5(1)(f))

Yurify is a personal tool used by an individual on their own communication. It must not be deployed, licensed, provisioned or required by an employer, manager, HR function, or educational institution to read, infer, score, monitor or assess the emotions, engagement, sincerity or wellbeing of employees, candidates, or students. Where you select a work context, Yurify is instructed to analyse how your own wording is likely to read at work rather than to infer the inner state of a named colleague. Any use of Yurify output as an input to an employment or academic decision is a breach of these terms and is your sole responsibility. See our AI Transparency Notice.

2b. You are interacting with an AI system (EU AI Act Art. 50)

All analyses, rewrites, drafts, follow-up chat replies and rehearsal counterparts are generated by AI. No human reviews your content before analysis. In Rehearsal mode the other party is an AI simulation, not a real person, and is labelled as such. AI-generated drafts and rewrites are labelled as AI-generated when copied, exported, or shared; you should keep that context if you pass them on.

3. AI output is probabilistic, not factual

Yurify uses large language models. Outputs are statistical predictions, not statements of fact. They can be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, biased, internally inconsistent, or entirely fabricated ("hallucinated"). Two analyses of the same text may differ. You must apply your own judgement and, where appropriate, seek qualified professional advice before acting on anything Yurify shows you.

4. Prohibited uses

You agree not to use Yurify, and not to rely on its output, for any consequential decision about a person, including but not limited to: employment, hiring, promotion, discipline or termination; education or admissions; credit, lending, or insurance underwriting; housing or tenancy; immigration; law enforcement, security clearance, or criminal proceedings; clinical, medical, or psychological diagnosis or treatment; child custody, family-court, or other litigation evidence; or any other decision that produces a legal or similarly significant effect on a person.

5. Third-party content

If you submit messages, transcripts, or other content authored by someone else, you confirm you have a lawful basis to do so (for example: it was sent to you personally, you have the author's consent, or applicable law permits the use). You are solely responsible for that content and you indemnify Yurify against claims arising from it. See our Privacy Policy for how we process it.

6. No professional relationship; emergencies

Using Yurify does not create a therapist-client, doctor-patient, lawyer-client, or any other professional relationship between you and Yurify or its personnel. If you are in crisis or believe you or someone else is in danger, contact local emergency services immediately. In Singapore: dial 999 (police) or 995(ambulance), or contact the Samaritans of Singapore at 1-767.

7. Automated decision-making (GDPR Art. 22)

Yurify does not make legally significant or similarly significant decisions about you using solely automated means. Output is provided to you for human review and is intended to support, not replace, your own reasoning.

8. AI providers

Yurify processes your inputs through a managed AI gateway that may route requests to third-party model providers, currently including Google (Gemini family) and OpenAI (GPT family). We instruct providers not to use your content to train their models, to the extent supported by each provider's enterprise terms. 9. Accuracy, bias, and language

Outputs may reflect cultural, gender, age, or linguistic biases present in training data. Performance varies across languages and writing styles. Concepts such as "emotion", "intent", "cognitive bias", or "real need" used in the interface are interpretive labels, not clinical or scientific findings.

10. No warranty

Yurify is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. Our liability is limited as set out in our Terms of Service.
